Artist Statement

My recent body of work is a vain endeavor to capture the spirit of the moment …… moments of the heart.

Visions of the self, drawn from the blissful exile that is the mountainous terrain of the inner emotional landscape of a soul.

I do not feel the need to define my work, to do so would be nothing more than a frustrating & naïve attempt to try and consciously explain that which is an unconscious expression in itself.

I want to express without explanation & the need for justification.

If along the way I illicit the possibility of an emotional response then that in itself is enough validation for the artistic spirit that motivates me to be myself.
